HISTORICALLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS, THE HERITAGE SQUARE MUSEUM AND GROUNDS ARE ONCE AGAIN OPENING UP EXCLUSIVELY FOR OUR SPOOKY FILM NIGHT. The goolish spirits within the houses are excited we are having our 3rd annual spook night film screening there.
A living history museum reflecting the settlement and development of Southern California from the Civil War to the early 20th Century,HERITAGE SQUARE MUSEUMoffers visitors a look into the everyday lives of Southern Californians at the close of the 19th Century.
The eight historic structures located at the museum, constructed during the Victorian Era, were saved from demolition and serve as a perfect background to educate the public about Southern California's early development. From the simplicity of the Octagon House to the opulence of the Perry Mansion, the Museum provides a unique look at the lifestyles of the people who contributed so much to the development of modern Los Angeles.
WHAT TO BRING & MISCELLANEOUS STUFF TO KNOW
YOU! We are working on food/drink options to be announced. Just be prepared to keep warm and stay comfortable. You can also bring typical outdoor movie supplies if you like... blankets, pillows, chairs, etc. You can bring a little picnic too if you are so inclined.
In advance we request that you please be considerate towards your HiddenLA compadres by not blocking their views of the film with tall chairs, etc. as Heritage Square's screen is only so big. And please pick up after yourselves when you leave as best you can. Heritage Square is really doing an amazing thing by allowing us to use their space for this event during their off hours so let's show them how awesome and respectful we are... and then maybe we could do it again another time! :)
